Summary: I would like to thank the Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo and the UFES Pósgraduação
em Biotecnologia program for the resources and infrastructure provided to
develop my work. I would also like to thank Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de
Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES) for my scholarship and Fundação de Amparo à
